I'm a counsellor, trauma therapist, Mother and Daughter. Therapy is my passion, I am dedicated and have extensive experience in providing a safe therapeutic space for children and adults. I use a range of techniques including creative therapy to help people learn and understand about themselves.

Building a relationship is key in therapy, promoting emotional intelligence, wellbeing and resilience. My goal is to empower clients to achieve this.

Therapy helped me so much when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I want to be able to help people in the same way.

Growing up, I often felt uncomfortable in my own skin and searched for alternative ways to cope with life - ways that, ultimately, didn't help. Thankfully, I was offered a lifeline, and taking it changed the course of my journey.

Watching a child struggle with their mental health is one of the hardest things a parent can face. As a mother of two, I deeply understand the overwhelming desire to take away their pain and struggles. Today, I work to support parents through this emotional time - standing beside them and using the tools and insights I've gained to help them navigate their child's challenges with compassion and strength.

Testimonials

I met Georgina at a school meeting, at which it was proposed that she counsel me on a one-to-one basis to help me resolve some of my son's problems. She instantly came across so personably, that I had no hesitate in agreeing, and was not disappointed. She came to my home for each meeting and made me feel at ease throughout. She is calm, positive, non-judgemental and very likeable.

Throughout the process, Georgina has always made me feel safe to talk about anything. She is sympathetic toward my problems and often makes me feel safe and "not alone". Her approach to each session is always well-prepared, organized and flexible. Most importantly, Georgina offers tools and methods to guide me through hard times, such as drawing, imagery and empty chair work. I find that I can always return to these methods when I am struggling. Her dedication and effort toward her clients are truly encouraging.
