I have fifteen years' experience and training psychodynamic and integrative psychotherapeutic counselling for individual adults and couples in private practice.
I am familiar with working with a wide range of people and issues and have several years' experience as clinical supervisor, clinical manager and counselling service designer at various charities.
I offer a confidential place to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and situation; to bring your whole self, where you will be listened to without being judged.
The way I work integrates eclectic but related and effective approaches, including:
I use these approaches within a multi-dimensional integrative framework, as outlined by Lapworth and Sills.
I offer a safe place to focus on your relationship, find ways to understand it and each other better, and to communicate, negotiate and move forwards. I will try to understand your situation and relationship, and help you make sense of things and explore underlying or hidden dynamics.
You can get in touch to arrange a free 15-minute chat to get an idea of what I'm like, see if we may be a fit and what next. This would be by Zoom for Couples.
We might then organise a 50-minute consultation to outline your situation, needs, expectations and what is offered. Couples may require 2 or 3 of these meetings.
If we commit to working together, this involves our agreeing to regular, weekly 50-minute appointments at the same time, which can continue for as long as you wish.
Please contact me by email or phone to arrange an initial consultation.
